I am not sure if anyone brought this up. I tried to search but did not find any viable results.
It'd be nice to allow the MediaPlayer in MediaMonkey invoke independently from the main application. I have my mp3 associated with MediaMonkey and its a pain having the whole app pop up when I am just playing a song.
Allowing the player to be independent

There should be something improved in UI (I hope even in 2.5), this is allready asked and it is on ToDo list as I know.

Re: Allowing the player to be independent
Why don't you use an external player? There's a bunch of good small players you can use to play your files. Once installed, disable the file assotiations in MediaMonkey (Tools->Options->General->File Types) and your player will pop-up instead of MediaMonkey.emishi wrote:It'd be nice to allow the MediaPlayer in MediaMonkey invoke independently from the main application. It will not remove any MediaMonkey functionality.
