[BUG] mini player on lock screen [#10957]

The mini player on the lock screen will not initiate "play" all other controls work ie. pause, skip forward, skip back.
Just installed MM on my phone a few days ago so build should be current.
Motorola Droid Bionic/ android 4.1.2/ build number 9.8.20-72_VZW-22

Just checked the mini lock screen player and all buttons work on my Motorola, i did not check the full lock screen player.

I've gotten this too, actually today on my drive to wok. Once it happens, the only way to clear it is to kill mediamonkey using the tasks app. The current song name will show on the locked player and full screen player, but the duration is 0:00 and progress bar doesn't move. If I unlock phone, and go into MMA I can back arrow to a play list, then open now playing and the full screen player will work again until the screen goes to sleep.

Rotating screen or going to Now Playing list works for me as workaround.
