Would it be possible to put an option under sleep mode to hibernate or standby as well as the option to shutdown.
That would be great and there wouldn't be much more code required as it's simple to do in visual basic so i'm sure you guys can work it out.
Thanks
Rhys

there is no need to do this?
just stop monkey from playing and when the computer goes in to hibernate
then monkey goes with it?
or are you on lap top and using batterie power.?
if that is the case then shut monkey down so he wont take power to run.

You misunderstand rovingcowboy. The Sleep function allows you to ask the monkey to stop playing and shutdown the computer after a set amount of time.
What rhys100 is asking for is the option to hibernate or standby instead of shutdown. Which is a good request!

i don't get it?
if monkey is up and running he should be playing music right?
mine is always playing music when he is up and running ?
which is also 24 / 7 so i guess that is why i don't get what they want?

That's only like that if the computer's power managment has been set up to put the computer in standby or hibernate mode, once a certain time of incactivity (mouse, hard disk, ...) has passed.just stop monkey from playing and when the computer goes in to hibernate
Be sure you understand the difference between shutdown, standby and hibernate. Also be sure to understand why someone prefers the one befor the other.
@rhys100: This seems a logical choice to add indeed...

I want this also.. I use the sleep-function on my laptop now (running on batteries), but I really hate that it shuts off, instead of just suspending or hibernating (which saves me a lot of work logging on and so on..)
