This sounds like a permissions problem to me (i.e.the second article linked above might help).

If it doesn't solve the problem can either of you submit a debug log (Options > Help > Submit log) immediately after the error occurs and then share the log ID here?

That'll help us resolve the problem. Thanks!

Hi,
You can normally play failed tracks on MM sync server?

I also got the "download failed" dialog and the MM version is the latest. While I'm trying to figure it out. Wullail, let me know if you have a solution...

Hi,

Can I assume that you already reviewed the gotcha's mentioned here?

What version of MediaMonkey for Android ? I'm asking because if you've already gone through the steps in the above article, then maybe there's a permissions problem (this can occur with MMA 2 on some devices) in which case this might help:

Let me know...

Finally given up trying to sort this...hopefully somebody else may know.

Android phone with media monkey installed , latest MM on the PC.

I've connected to the MM on the PC using WiFi and the 'Media Servers' button on the android app and I've clicked 'allow access' on the box that came up on the PC.

I can scroll through all the various media files, play them.

BUT...

If I try and select files/albums etc and select download..BAM...almost instantly '(Number of selected tracks) Download Failed'
