I my case for Vibrasphere http://www.psyshop.com/shop/Sticks/tvr/tvr1cs022.html the compactstick is sold 5 US$ more than the CD. It contains 2 GB of data, the tracks in mp3 and waves, plus additional tracks (not avail on CD) and videos. That's attractive but I still like the CD better. Also, the CD will play in my car stereo, while a burned CD won't.
well the lens cleaning cd is a good idea anyway more so if you live in texas, it is dusty out in these here parts.Eyal wrote:Your are right Cowboy. It's a 2001 model. I completely forgot about the 650MB thing. Thanks for make me remind it.
OK so to get back to the point, I have no trouble with manufactured CDs, so to avoid all this cleaning an manipulation process, I will continue to buy CDs instead of compactstick.

Re-threading the thread...Mizery_Made wrote:Lowlander has a point, downloading is a far superior method for digital music. Internet speeds are getting faster as time goes on, Hard Drives getting larger. The only thing this new format would offer is a compromise between completely digital and the CD format in that you have a digital version of the music, but still have something tangible to hold in your hand that is official. I prefer to have that tangible object, as it makes me feel I've actually bought something that exists. Digital Music doesn't always come with credits either, which bothers me, as I enjoy having writer or producer credits as well as some nice artwork to go with it. *Shrugs*
