Very Interesting.... I downloaded and installed version 5.6. Then I ran a report and I no longer have doubles of all my tracks. It is definitely something in version 5.7 causing all of my tracks to show up as doubles in the report.

Here you can see the same album I posted when I first reported the bug.

i did a export to html of all my songs the other day.

near the end of the list all the songs were double posts.

i don't use trix's script here so it seems monkey is doing this some how?

Your issue may be an unrelated issue. The reason why I suspect that is because I've never had double tracks show up in my reports when using Advanced Report 5.6 or lower. Then as soon as I upgrade to version 5.7, all my tracks are duplicated. Then as soon as I downgrade back to version 5.6, the doubles all disappear. I'm no expert, but AR 5.7 seems suspect.

No idea, I'll have to have a look.

Trixmoto, I'll keep sleuthing and thinking about what else could be changing to cause this. I'll let you know if I find anything. In the meantime, let's hope someone else experiences this issue and can offer additional feedback.

New version (5.8.) is now available to download from my website. Changes include...

- Fixed issue causing some tracks to appear twice
- Fixed issue with quotes characters in tooltip mask

Whilst I still haven't managed to replicate the duplicate track issue, I think I've found a way that it could happen and hopefully it won't any more.

Installing Advanced Report 5.8 in user-mode doesn't work.

After starting MM in admin-mode it is possible to install the script AND to run the script.

Unfortunately I can't run the script when I start MM in user-mode again.

Editing the Scripts.ini in C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts directory won't work.

Does the admin-mode store information about the script in another file?

Well this is a general thing with all scripts. You appear to have a different version of "Scripts.ini" in your VirtualStore, which is what "user mode" is looking at. If you delete this file then you should always get the original "Scripts.ini", as modified in "admin mode".

Might sound like a dumb question, but once the script is installed, where do I go to run it?

I can't find it in the Create Reports menu, but it shows up as installed in the Extensions menu.
