Moving files via Auto Organize

Post by Milagro »

Hello I am trying to move some files via Auto Organize Files.
I am running MediaMonkey as administrator under Windows 7 64bit.

I have moved some files before and there wasn't a problem.
After cutting and pasting the files of the specific folder to a other location, I rescand them an retried the Auto Organize Files option.
But I still get the error.

The main folder is set to Read only, after several time disabling this value the computer keep reseting it to read only.
The administrator has the full rights. I don't know ho to resolve the problem.

Read only doesn't really mean much for folders. In Windows all system folders have that filled in box. What's important is the files themselves. Are they marked as read only?

If you try to create a folder in whatever folder you're trying to move the files to, can you do it? (ie with Windows Explorer do you get an error)?

okay i think you will need to find a registery cleaner for your system.
and a junk files cleaner. they are out there in the freeware sites..

i think ccleaner works on win7. and it has a registry cleaner with it..

you can find it on http://www.majorgeeks.com

see if that gets rid of the error.
:o

" sorry about that question i just seen you said that in the first post. "
