Howto create playlist with the 50 "newest" tracks? [solved]

My question seems fairly simple but... is it?

I want to create an autoplaylist that contains the 50 latest tracks sorted by Window's
file creation date. So, today is the 9th of August. If I were to download an mp3 from Amazon
that last one would be on top of the list because it would have have a creation date of 8/9/2011
where most of my tracks date from 1990s-to-2010s.

Any help much appreciated.

- in MM3 there's a script called: "Last 100 played"
- in MM4 you can mess around with the TimeStamp property

right "Sort Order:" box where you sort on Z-A.



Any clues as to why I MM doesn't show the timestamp option in the right box?

Which version are you using, I am on the beta version of MM4? I am a little rusty with MM3, but if I remember correctly this option is not available in MM3.

Timestamp was only just added in MM4. I think "Date added" or "Added" (can't remember the exact terminology) is better suited for what you're asking for anyway.

yep its easier with the script.

and it is able to be done in mm 3 with the last date added just takes more rules and stuff i think its been while since
i made one for my jukebox to use but its possible.
