(fixed~)general "handling" is TOO SLOW ! ... (UI response)

Hello all, devs,

first, here my specs :

i7-2600K @3.4GHz
GTX 970
16 GB RAM de Corsaire
win 10 pro latest update,
music library on black WD 7200t/min,
...

can you tell me why the hell mm5alpha ui response is laggy with ~1-2s response time ??

i know this is Alpha stage.... & i think this is the #1 reason for that issue "fat".

=> on mm4, its "stable/release". its like working in explorer.exe or any other app/program = FAST !

As im not coder, just a little musician :

- are there "memory leaks" ???
- cpu is handled 15% by MM5, should be 2% no ??
- i feel some skins are slower than others/not optimised.

so,

1- when u go in "stable" betas ?
2- when u release mm5 ?
3- can you work/fix ui lag in priority HIGH please ?

last, 5556 ? (latest)

-i double click traxx in my collection, one by one, toplay it,
-lag makes me rename track name, even i cliked twice,
-i drag good traxx in the "radio" playlist, lag/delay response is 2-3s...
-my win 10 fresh install/clean, "nuevo"
-waveforms is sometimes "cutted"/not shown entirely,
-waveforms take 4s to show,

my library is little : 3900 bought unmodified aiff/flac/mp3 tracks...

also, when i drag to up-left diagonal, to put track in playlist :

it select qll tracks to top, coz laggy response.

the main pb is "options>player layout > seekbar>waveform".

the waveform loading makes the lag.

if i use seek bar preview it seems good.

can i analyze all waveforms "frontend", in background in app or while adding folder automatically ?

that's my definitive library.....

the mask format works fine like itunes, with flac...

Yes, computing waveforms is CPU consuming, as it has to quickly decode and analyze whole file.

re cut waveforms - if this happens, you can recompute it by waveform bar context menu item "update waveform", it will recompute it for currently playing file.
I am not sure, what causes, that computing it sometimes ends prematurely, I cannot reproduce it.

here the drag n drop acts crzzy sometimes, like selecting tracks to up, instead of "drag selected" in diagonal to playlist...

It's same lag/response with clicks/drag from UI i pushed on a topik.

in hands i feel ui is not stable, it's laggy/or cpu handling instead to stay idle + interaction.

edit : i'm thinking go back windows store's itunes... no flac nor android sync, but ui is stable ! (im lost between worlds...)
