Waiting for sync connection: (Laptop) endlessly

Hi, everyone. I'm completely new to MediaMonkey, been using iTunes pretty much all my life, but I'm switching over from an iPhone to an Samsung, so I figured it was time to learn how to use it.

I've got MM for Android installed on my new Samsung Galaxy 10e, and installed for Windows on my old HP Envy laptop. I plug in the phone with a USB, the laptop console sees the phone, I try to copy some music (that I imported from iTunes to MM5) and... can't do it. It says there was a problem synchronizing the following items. Oh, and whenever I try to sync the new phone to MM5, it just says "Waiting for sync connection: Laptop" endlessly. This is extremely frustrating, any help is appreciated.

Do the files you're trying to Sync play in MediaMonkey and which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey you're using?

Is this for a wifi or USB Sync?

Yes, they play, and it's MM5. And it's a USB sync, just bought the cables yesterday. Oh, and it's not showing any of the artwork I exported from iTunes for some reason.

Which Build of MediaMonkey 5 though?

iTunes uses a proprietary format for Artwork, so generally other programs have no access to this.

I have the same problem. But don't give up. You might try to uninstall MM on your phone then reinstall it and search for the laptop / server again. After a couple of minutes of spinning as it searches for the computer, the phone will sometimes connect and sometimes it will fail.
Samsung A52 5G and Dell XPS 9500.
Syncing has ALWAYS been an issue - even before this phone and computer combo.

Sounds like you're having issues with wifi Sync, not USB Sync. Which Build of MMA and MMW5 are you using?
