Hi all
I have a few play lists on MM5 and everything works great.
But I have a slight annoyance and that's every time I start MM5, it automatically imports the same playlists and recreates them under "imported playlists". So I have "Steven Wilson Playlist". It's duplicated under "imported playlists/Steven Wilson Playlist"
If I delete them, they simply reappear next time MM5 starts up.
I have MM5 set to scan at start up and continuously and I'm fairly sure it's just a setting I need to adjust to stop this recreation of playlists but I can't find anything obvious.
Any of you more knowledgeable folk able to point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Re: Auto added playlists
1. Your sometime once exported .M3U-playlists are in one folder OR
2. saved between your songs.
1. Menu: Add/Rescan files to Library
...Here you can see the watched folder that contains playlist files.
...Quit MM5
...Windows Explorer: delete these .M3U-playlists from this folder.
2. These m3u playlists are saved between your songs.
You can also find these with Windows Explorer and delete them - Extension= .M3U

Re: Auto added playlists
Thanks
My playlists are stored in the same location as all my mp3 files.
I've created the playlist, added some files and saved it. I've then added further files and resaved to update the playlist.....I'm guessing that's the problem?
So how do I fix?
Export the playlists to somewhere else?
thanks

You can disable MediaMonkey from scanning Playlists in altogether by disabling the Playlists File Type(s) from being scanned.
