from version 3 to 4 ?

Hello
I have still version 3 installed on a windows 10 system.
Where can I read information on how to upgrade to MM version 4 while keeping all the db?
I made a back up of the ini file and the db file, but I have 2 versions of the db file, one is the folder roaming and one in the folder media monkey.
Which one should I use later?
I searched on the forum but think it is too old
I don't want version 5 or later.

MediaMonkey 4 can be installed on top of MediaMonkey 3: https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/kno ... r-windows/

Do note that MediaMonkey 4 is an old, no longer supported, version of MediaMonkey. The current release is MediaMonkey 2024.

I did that but all the playlists are gone.
I have a back up of MM3 but how can I in an easy way recover my playlists with the back up please? I am not very good in computing.

That likely means the database from MediaMonkey 3 wasn't used. You'll need to search on your PC if it still exists (likely).

I have in my back up of version 3 a file called MM.DB. Can I copy this file somewhere in MM4?
