tta (and other) files not scanned

Post by CyberDoc »

I have albums that show up in Win11 File Explorer but not in the Entire Library location where I would expect them to be. One batch of them are tta files. I don't see that MM 5.0.4.2690 can scan for, find, or play tta files.
What can I do to have MM scan and play this file type?

This format isn't supported by MediaMonkey. Supported formats for scanning into Library is set in the Options, but tta isn't one of them.

Is there a way to add a codec on my own, or perhaps try to get MM5's makers to add support for tta?

Hi,
I added request for plugin support under https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=20236

You should try copy DLL file from https://sourceforge.net/projects/tta/fi ... p/download to MM plugin folder and then Drag and drop TTA file to MM now playing.

FYI I would also suggest to convert it to FLAC as it is more common format and will support all tags.
