Is it possible to implement a rescan function for selected files? Whenever files from different folders are modified with an external tool, such as Foobar2000 or MP3tag, the entire library has to be rescanned. A scan of the selected files could save a lot of time.

If you only scan files with changed timestamp it shouldn't take too long (unless you scan massive amounts of files.

You have Folder Monitoring for scenarios like this. You leave MediaMonkey running with Folder Monitoring and files will be rescanned as they're changed.

Thanks, Lowlander. The monitoring feature was a really good tip. I've been using MediaMonkey for nearly 20 years and somehow never noticed this function. It works exactly as I need it to. It really saves me time because I used to perform a complete scan with every change, and my library is quite large.

You would highlight the track, shift-ins, and it would scan only the folder that particular track is located in.
