Not dumb question. Each player skin is different but you want to look for an continuious button to turn it on or off, you can also use the drop down menu for play and uncheck it there.

Note: Can't see a control button for the script on play drop down menu...
Running media monkey version 4.0.7...
The player is the largest player available..
My OS is windows 7 x 64 Bit...

Re: Setting to stop player from going to the next song
Must be something messing with the command? You sound like you should do a debug report log and send it in to support.
Or try an overinstall and see if the issue was a missed file when you first installed it.
Yes the biggest player is the main player. There are 5 players for mediamonkey 1 main 1 video 1 floating, 2 micro players but only one micro shows at a time either vertical or horizontal depending on your monitors postion.
But what i meant was you can get different images to make the player and buttons look like different things, they are called skins, or the GUI graphical user interface, some of us made different skins for others to use in making the mediamonkey program GUI look as they wanted if they want to use the skin we made.
And each skin can have the buttons on the creator of the skin wanted. And where they wanted to place them on their skin.

Re: Setting to stop player from going to the next song
Thanks for the comeback...
Which is the most recent media monkey stable version... ?...Which version are you Running...?
I am going to reinstall it ... Well the newest version...
I have several hard drives on my pc, I have two media monkey installed, 3.2 version installed F drive and the 4.7 on E drive and
both versions are doing the same thing as far as the player not stopping at the end of the selected song... Something is up for
both versions to act the same...
I like the 3.2 version better because of the player...main player...the buttons on the new version are to damn small...The play button
on the 3.2 is a nice Big Red One...LOL....Thanks

4.0.7 is the current stable release, the Glided skin is available in that version also, just change your skin after installation at Options > SkinRaner wrote:Thanks for the comeback...

Re: Setting to stop player from going to the next song
There's an option in version 4 right under the "Play" menu. Also the version 4 default skin "Vitreous" has a 'stop after current' button.Raner wrote:OK...Thanks...Will Do...

You can also change your double-click action so that it only adds the one song you clicked to the now playing list. That option is at Options > Playback rules

Re: Setting to stop player from going to the next song
Thanks for all the help... all...
OK...Gaining on it a bit...
If I right click on the player play button and select
"STOP AFTER CURRENT" the player will stop when the song ends...
The bad part is that the action has to be repeated on every song...
Does anyone know if there is a script that will keep the setting
applied ounce set untill it is manually ticked again to be truned off...
Thanks...

Re: Setting to stop player from going to the next song
Found a bit more info... Could not edit my previous post...So added to it instead...
Found this on read me text...in the media monkey file folder...
4. Advanced Configuration
a) Command line options
A number of flags can be set when running MediaMonkey from the command line:
/NoSplash - don't show splash screen when starting MediaMonkey
/Next - play files after the current track
/Add - add files to the Now Playing queue
/Party - start up in Party Mode
/Play - start up and play whatever is currently in the Now Playing queue
/ResetToolbars - resets toolbar configuration to default settings
You can use these options as follows:
MediaMonkey /NoSplash /Add "My song.mp3"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I see where the command is set to...
/Next - play files after the current track
Now here's the money question where do I find the command line and how do
I change the above setting...Thanks

I think the last line of nohitter151's post above has the money:
"You can also change your double-click action so that it only adds the one song you clicked to the now playing list. That option is at Options > Playback rules"

You're barking up the wrong tree there, the correct setting is at Options > Playback rules like I mentioned. You already figured that out, just posting to clear up confusion for anyone else who runs across this thread.Raner wrote:Found a bit more info....
