Creative ZEN

The Creative ZEN is a fine DAP/PMP.

Usage with MediaMonkey V1256:

• Supported features
  • Sync of WMA tracks from PC to device, including ratings
  • Sync of rating and playcount from PC to device
    • Rating sync has been found unreliable e.g. http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=226845#p226845

• Issues
  • Incremental auto-sync often corrupts the fileset
    • Workaround: reformat the device so that the auto-sync is full rather than incremental
  • No way to disable sync of ratings/playcounts from device to PC when trying to auto-sync from PC to device
    • Workaround: reformat the device so that the auto-sync is to-device only
