^Right. Album Artist was never (to my knowledge) a standard node. The problem doesn't only apply to "Various Artists" albums. It's an issue with any album that has "guest artists" on a track. What happens currently with Artist node: The Roots > Game Theory > Illadelph Halflife > Organix The Roots ...

Nope. It's an every media player that I'm aware of issue. They all pull the artist data from the 'artist' field and not the 'album artist' field. If you know one that doesn't, I'd be glad to hear it. Ive used the Sansa 200 series, Zune, Ipod and Creative Zen players...Teknojnky wrote:sounds like an ipod issue

This may already be possible, but I would love to have a node for viewing album artist rather than by 'artist'.
