I'm not seeing this on latest 2024.2.2 RC, the playing file is put in first position and everything shows shuffled after this.

As part of the Path has changed you can use Locate Moved/Missing Files to fix the Path.

Can you play a file from File Explorer in MediaMonkey? Do the files in MediaMonkey show a drive letter in the Path? There is no build in option to resize, it can only be done on Sync.

Add/Rescan Files doesn't remove files as otherwise you'd always need to scan all locations. Dead Links shows files removed from the drive.

What conversion rules did you set (screenshot may help). It may be that Supported Formats doesn't include the FLAC files specifics, thus resulting in the conversion.

Which exact build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you referring to? MediaMonkey 5 is an old release, MediaMonkey 2024.2.1 is the current release, and I don't have an issue on the latest MediaMonkey 2024.2.2 Release Candidate.
