Re: are files compatible with DAPs
It not a file-type issue. I use FLAC files and the DAP handles that type. Its a matter of how the files are organized (I hope I'm describing the right thing.) To add music to the DAP, I copy files to the drive. I have a number of albums that I bought digitally, so I can copy them and the DAP will ...

are files compatible with DAPs
I'm thinking of ditching my iPod and getting an Astell&Kern Digital Audio Player. I add music to the DAP by simply copying in files like it is an external drive. Is the MM "Mymusic" file where are my ripped music is stored compatible with the Astell&Kern DAP? Will the player recognize the files and ...

Re: new computer will not play music
On W11 laptop, the Audio Output is set to MediaMonkey WASAPI (second button). On W10 laptop, that works, the setting is MediaMonkey DirectSound (first button). I changed the setting on the new laptop to DirectSound and it made no difference. MediaMonkey plays music through the desktop speakers that ...

new computer will not play music
This is not a MediaMonkey issue. Maybe a computer issue, probably a windows 11 issue. But it prevents me from using MM5 optimally. I play music with MM5 two ways: 1) through powered, desktop speakers (so-so sound); 2) through a line from the computer headphone jack to the TEAC amp in my home audio ...

Strange Column
I got a new laptop and installed MM5. I closed the right panel. When I entered names of playlists, a new column appeared on the right side that showed the name of the playlist on top, then the message "Drag and drop or send tracks to the playlist to populate it." This same massage was overwritten in ...

Re: Does not burn all tracks
I just successfully burned all tracks using Windows Media Player. I neglected to mention that when the MM5 burn finishes, I get a window that asks if I want to burn disc #2, or some such thing. Has a box to reburn the disc, also. So it looks like the program thinks there is too much music selected ...

Does not burn all tracks [#20029]
Having trouble burning a CD. I select 21 tracks. Message on the bottom says "21 files 345.0 MB 01:14:31 (Selected 21 files 345.0 MB 01:14:31). I click "Send to CD (burn). On the bottom I see "Preparing...but it only goes to 20. Then "Burning...and again it only goes to 20. The result is only 20 ...

Sorry, I don't know the ticket number. I am another customer who signed onto this thread because I have the same problem. Should I submit my own ticket?

Re: iPod Touch Not Recognized
I have the same problem. Windows 10, MMW5 5.0.3.2627. Downloaded the 64-bit desktop iTunes from the Help Content page. Uninstalled old iTunes, installed new iTunes. iPod does not show up under devices. Did the support ticket analysis yield results?

Portable installation does not always start
Having trouble with a portable installation on a flash drive. I want to give some music to friends and have it play through MediaMonkey. So I put the music on a flash drive and do a portable installation for the free MM5 on the drive. First, I keep getting this pesky notice at the bottom of the ...
