CParker is talking about the letters when you sort your albums in album art view. (A, B, C, D...). Those don't seem to change.

WARNING: to fully understand this post and don't call police, you need an image I created. You can download it here or view and/or download it here, cause is too heavy to stay in a post and not too much to be downloaded.
This is a really good looking skin! I'd surely use it, if:
1- the X to close windows had not that problem.
2- the icons next to the options were not just a white square when selected but more like the ones in the Glided skin.
3- artist and title had better alignment and Album was included replacing kpbs, that could be moved somewhere else (but not removed). Title could have a slightly greater and brighter font to underline.
4- shuffle and continuous buttons were grouped together in the same area and more buttons were added (EQ, now playing, etc...).
5- these and other OMG-blue-on-black font colors were changed.
6- that other font color was changed...black on black makes the font invisible.
7- that button was turned in a MM3 logo button (this is not Songbird, is just a nice skin for MM).
8- the scrollbars were more similar to Songbird ones.
9- the album art was shifted more to the left and all the fonts highlighted and maybe bolded (keeping more importance to the title).
10- a little album art preview was added here (like in Glided), leaving a little black and white MM logo as default image for missing album arts (as you did for the album art window).
11- this and other shocking white space were fixed.
11b- the arrows were turned black, matching better the theme.
12- the highlighting of selected track was made clearer, since it's not easy to understand what's currently selected.
13- the microplayer was made slightly bigger, to allow slightly bigger buttons. Stop button should be added!
14- that round thing was slightly lifted uf to be better vertically centered with the volume bar.
15- unclickable option were colored in a different color than clickable ones.
16- that white slelection and that messy thing were fixed.
17- that useless empty bar was removed to enlarge the player or the browsing area (or both).
Of course this was not just a crazy interior monologue made public, but hopefully a list of edits that I think could definitely improve this skin.
There are some other things that are buggy or unaesthetic (to me), but there are as well several things that I really like.
Maybe you are going to hate me, but surely we are going to love your skin.
Let me know if there's something you cannot understand

Thanks for reading to this point

Fraxav, you are very detailed with your comments. I remember when you did a similar post for the Zune skin...Fraxav wrote:WARNING: .....

eheh...and I remember when you said that you love details
I like to see that the things I like get better. So I give my own and subjective contribute
Or maybe I'm just crazy

I'm still using your skin as one of the top 3 I have

@Fravax,
whAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATT? What is this list? Who do you think you are to point out all the crappy areas in my child???
... Just kidding. But I should call the police anyway just for the pleasure hearing how they would react to my call : "there's this guy on this forum and, like, he said all those bad words about my skin... blah, blah, blah..."
Thanks VERY much for the feedback, that's an invaluable resource to correct the skin. The image is very helpful to understanding what you're talking about. Screenshots are so much more helpful than words.
I'll take one item at a time and try and change it. Some features such as the songbird icon and the scrollbars were choices I had to make. It's funny because I decided to enhance - or what I saw as an enhancement - the scrollbars and stick to the songbird icon and you'd rather see the opposite... He, he..
If I ever come across anything you wrote I can't understand I'll PM you if that's ok. But with the awesome screenshot I should be fine.
Your post came just about the right time as I need to get away from the skin I'm trying to make at the moment. It's soooooo pissing me off right now. It was "back on the songbird skin" time after all I guess.
Thanks again,
Victor.

And don't even think that was ALL I had to complain about your creature. Your "child" has more holes than a colander! I described the most easy ones, since it could have took me an entire day to point out them all...
Apart from jokes...I'm happy to see that my ideas are welcome.
As usual, the skin is yours so you don't HAVE TO edit all those points just because I said so...just ideas.
Scrollbars are ok...but had I created the skin, I'd have used the ones songbird uses. Well, for the icon...this is a monkey, not a bird, but the child is yours and you decide
So, have a nice time going through all those points and forgive my past and hypothetical tenses use...
Oh, and of course yes, PM me if you need. I'll go on collecting new mistakes from your job for you, while you correct the old ones
Have a good day.

You're a better person than me magical one ... I'd be seriously offended by Fraxav's remarks, especially:
Constructive feedback is one thing, dissecting and criticizing something a person's put many hours of work into is quite another.

Maybe you should design one.Fraxav wrote:... had I created the skin ...

Yes, I must say that I reacted too. But I think it's a translation thing...
Fraxav,
You should really rephrase the offending statement.
magicalpig,
You're doing a great job and it's really appreciated. Keep it up!
