Display Garbled -can I return to original settings?

Post by MrRealKats »

I was shifting the size of the Media Monkey windows and I seem to have completely garbled the display. It’s as if I brought Now Playing so far left that it completely disappeared. Currently I have a vertical list on the left side of the screen listing everything from Now playing to Web. I can get album titles, but not their individual song titles. I also seem to have lost the actual Album Art and the Now Playing box. I’ve tried checking Now Playing and Album Art in the View box. Album Art will come back, but not the Now Playing box. I tried re-installing, but the re-installed version had the same problem. This is infuriating. Please help.

Now Playing might have become undocked. You will need to locate it before you can dock it back to the main window. Try locating it behind the main MediaMonkey window.

I've tried moving both the main MediaMonkey window, and even the Window's Start bar -no sign of it. Although there is something in the Window's Start Bar -but if I right click on that all I get is restore in gray and Minimize and Close.
Thanks for such a swift reply, if you could help me get this back to normal within the next few hours I'd be so grateful. I've a gathering planned for tonight. Thanks!

Could I remedy this through the registry? How do I access the registry?

Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix Find More From Same - Custom Search. | Transfer PlayStat & Copy-Paste Tags/AlbumArt between any tracks.
Tagging Inconsistencies Do you think you have your tags in order? Think again...
Play History & Stats Node Like having your Last-FM account stored locally, but more advanced.
Case & Leading Zero Fixer Works on filenames too!

Start->Run, type: regedit, hit OK

Be very careful and take a backup first if you havent done this before.
Google some on how to...

Thanks so much Bex.
I exported, then deleted the following branch: HKey_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE?Songs-DB/Interface/Toolbars
It worked perfectly.
Again, thank you.
