Playback speeds

Is there no way in Media Monkey to speed up or slow down playing speeds?

I think there is a winamp plugin which does this. Most winamp plugin are compatible with MM so head over there and look for it.
Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix Find More From Same - Custom Search. | Transfer PlayStat & Copy-Paste Tags/AlbumArt between any tracks.
Tagging Inconsistencies Do you think you have your tags in order? Think again...
Play History & Stats Node Like having your Last-FM account stored locally, but more advanced.
Case & Leading Zero Fixer Works on filenames too!

there is a plugin on the addons page linked at the top of this page that will speed up the tempo.

or it was on there.

if you are looking to play a 16rpm record and record it to your computer.

the only way is to play it on a usb turn table at 33 or 45 rpms and use the audacity program that has the converting plugin for that need. to speed up the play or slow it down which ever it needs.

then you can save the song as what ever format you want mp3 ogg wav, and have that 16 rpm sound back so you can hear it.

I have tried both of these plug ins and in terms of control and sound quality of output they are rubbish.

I am really surprised to find in a media manager of the quality of Media Monkey that there is no control over the playback speeds.

Are there no dance teachers or leaners or musical instruments learners out there who would not benefit greatly with this
facility? Windows Media player for example with all its faults offers this control. If there are enough people out there who would
like this to be added to Media Monkey please join in this thread.

Built-in playback speed control still seems to be missing? This would really be useful to slow down playback for instrument playing, for example.
