Re: Latest iPods support

Thanks for the quick turnaround. I have the latest iPod Touch 64GB which wasn't even recognized by MM as reported by others. After installing the new d_iPhone.dll, MM crashed on the first run but hasn't had a major problem since. MM does seem to hang a bit more than usual when starting with the iPod ...

Zen Vision M autosynch rounds ratings on PC [3.0.0.1908]

When autosynching my Zen Vision M the track ratings on my PC are rounded down which changes all of my half star ratings. For example, all of my 3.5 star tracks are changed to 3 stars. This occurs whether or not I changed the rating on my device. Autosynching my ZVM worked great until something ...

Error #5 - invalid procedure call or argument: 'Left'

Trixmoto -- still my favorite MM script but for the last few versions I have been unable to use. When I choose a Browse By Art node the first time I get the following error message: Error #5 - Microsoft VBScript runtime error Invalid procedure call or agrument: 'Left' File: "C:\Program Files ...

Two troubleshooting notes: First, in testing today the lowest album ID with cached album artwork after startup was 2099. FYI - I have my music stored on a NAS drive over a wireless connection. Could the script be intolerant of a connection delay and just start caching when connection finally ...

Thanks for the quick reply -- that's service for a free download! Album ID's range from 1651 to 4037 with a total of 981 records. I do have an album record with 0 for all ID fields and a blank Album name. I assumed that it was a system record but could it be causing a problem? Also, I'm using IE6 ...

Browse By Art 4.x Issues

First of all I love the script and appreciate all the time and effort trixmoto has put into it. Unfortunately I've had some issues since around version 4.0. Specifically: (1) About half of my albums show "none" even though there is album art tagged to the files (which shows up in other scripts like ...

I can confirm that ratings made on my Creative ZV:M synch back to MM. As a Lifetime Gold user I'll echo that the forums are usually very helpful and the one time I needed programmer help they were incredibly responsive.

I just got my Zen Vision:M on Friday and have a similar issue. I have all of my music tagged with album art but only some of it shows on the device. I have yet to find any consistent pattern to explain why this is happening. I have been able to add some of the missing album art after tagging with ...

Which devices does MM support synching track ratings?

I'm looking for a new portable audio device and would like to find one that can rate songs on the device itself and synch those ratings with MM. I've searched here and it appears that iPods offer this functionality but I have subscription music which are not compatible with iPods. Can the developers ...

Ripping to WMA 192kbps?

Is there a config setting that I'm missing or does MM only allow ripping WMA up to 160kbps? If so, is there any reason why?

Thanks

MM synchs DRM

I've been synching DRM files from Yahoo Music to my iRiver H340 using Beta 3 and 4. Generally everything works fine. I haven't tried burning a CD using MM yet though. Based on what I know about DRM, it is specifically designed not to beconverted and Apple doesn't support DRM. Basically, you need a ...

Rusty, To clarify a couple of points: (1) I was synching by location node not by playlist. Synching by playlist worked for both plugins. My goal was to get all my MM playlists automatically transferred as m3u playlists on my device without synching each one and recopying duplicated tracks. I used to ...

Rusty, Thanks for the reply. After toggling the the advanced settings in the synch config I noticed that the "Destination" defaults to <Path> when selecting a location node. I simply changed that value to "Default" and it appropriately transferred according to the output mask on "Synchronization ...
