Lyrics get truncated [#5377]

over 2700 corrupted lyrics here , thanks so much for the magic nodes string to find em all, now to retag

it is scary thing though, have been doing alot of cover art tagging so that might be related? but now cannot do that because the awesome BAF is broke here so will fix lyrics and see if they stay fixed

Nyn, if you can reproduce this, I urge you to open a new ticket -- either I don't understand the steps to reproduce this correctly or I'm unable to reproduce it at all here.

I am getting this bug with MediaMonkey 4 when I add some cover art in flac tracks.
I usually add a few different artworks (front, back, leaflet etc.) to my flac tracks.

I can work around it by adding the lyrics last, but I just thought I would mention it in case this is a known problem.

I am using version 4.0.0.1376 on Windows 7 64-bit.

I have noticed some 100 songs have their lyrics truncated. Must have happened during the last month.
All the more sad because Lyricator isn't working anymore....
Hope this gets fixed, so we're not getting more lyrics truncated.

This is happening to me, too. I noticed every time I change (add/delete) embedded albumart, the lyrics get truncated.

For me, it's not random. EVERY time I add albumart to tag, lyrics get truncated.

This are the steps I use to follow:

1) In MM media tree, I open a Collection called Quarantined Music, which basically filters music contained in a 'Quarantine' folder.
2) Using AA+Details view, I select one album already tagged with lyrics, then right click album thumbnail and choose 'Edit Artwork Properties'.
3) If a (bad quality) image already exists, I choose 'Remove'.
4) I press 'Add' and then I find a new image.
5) I make sure 'Apply to all selected files' is checked and press OK

After all changes are applied, I check lyrics properties of each song. All but the first song get the lyrics truncated.

I finally got it to work in MM4, you have to install it by first running MM as admin then uncheck the box "Install for current user only" when you first install the addon.

you made my day! Thanks! Lyricator is working fine again and I've been able to correct the lyrics that were messed up!
I know more people are having trouble with this so I'll post this also in the Lyricator thread.

Looks like it's fixed, but I need more testing to give a final word.

I finally got it to work in MM4, you have to install it by first running MM as admin then uncheck the box "Install for current user only" when you first install the addon.

Thank you VERY MUCH!!!! I spent over an hour to find a solution. This information should be included in the first post of every such topic to everyone could find it quickly.
